What do trains, flutes, and clocks all have in common?
Visitors can find out at the 17th annual New England Model Engineering Show held at the Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation in Waltham, Mass.
This festival will feature model engineers showcasing their working creations – steam engines, gasoline engines, aircraft engines, Stirling cycle engines, clocks, locomotives, moving puzzles, mini machines, pinhole cameras, wooden vehicle modes, model boats, and much more. There will be 100+ working machines on display, as well as hands-on experiments to learn from.
The event will run on February 16th, 2013 from 10am to 4pm, with admission set at $7 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12. Children under 6, active and retired military, and CRMI members are free.
